10. Why should I bring my puppy in for grooming even if they are not yet fully grown?
For a dog, there are a LOT of sensations happening during a typical grooming service. Having your puppy come in for shorter baths and trims before a full groom is wise due to any of the following things your dog needs to be trained to be comfortable with:
Being wet with a spray-head calmly all over in a bath tub
How to handle being scrubbed with soap, including face and booty
Getting used to the sound and feel of a high velocity blow dryer
Learning to enjoy brushing and combing
Getting accustomed to the feel of clippers and dremels
How to be held in specific placement for short period of time
Getting used to things happening around their face
How to have their feet handled and manipulated
